This edition in particular is especially mouthwatering because we’re pleased to announce that going forward\, Neurocide is teaming up with Octagon to bring you the new content of Fri-Son’s one and only UPGRADE series! \nAfter almost 10 years behind our Drum & Bass concept\, we’re turning squarely towards the future and integrating this promising local crew to the management of our events! And to celebrate this new alliance properly\, we needed a damn good headliner. Hence\, we are proud to present BARBARIX at UPGRADE#37 in September! With a musical palette ranging from Drum & Bass to Abstract Electronica and gliding over glorious Ambient and Dubstep melodies\, this breathtakingly talented producer already has a plethora of releases on many established labels including RAM\, Viper\, Inspected and Mayan Audio. Having recently joined the Methlab collective\, he’s persisting in his ambition by offering several high quality tunes to that particular band of brothers\, who are steadily becoming heavyweights on the international stage. We can’t wait to see him behind the decks in Fribourg to get a sneak peek at the sounds he has in store for his next releases! \nTo mark the occasion even more\, we’ve not been content to offer you just a couple of Swiss artists either. On the contrary\, it’s a veritable horde of talent that figures on this line-up. With three back to back sets\, we kid you not\, there are no less than six DJs representing the local scene\, waiting to be discovered! Starting with Subvibz & Qualle\, two members of Drum Army\, bursting with motivation while focused on producing tracks for their collective and following up with Kezeg & Meta2; our Swiss-German friends will be in control to get you in the mood early on! After Barbarix\, who will have completely rinsed it out no doubt\, it will be Sylek and D.M.A’s turn to lay into the dancefloor! Symbolising the union between Neurocide and Octagon for this edition\, those two nutcases will be dropping a set packed with energy after a summer that has seen D.M.A take to the stage alongside veritable pillars of the D&B community\, at “Let It Roll” in the Czech Republic! \nSo by now you must have twigged. There is only one place to be on September 15th\, and that’s at Fri-Son\, carried ever onwards by the unhinged basslines of UPGRADE #37! Cette édition\, en particulier\, est spécialement alléchante\, car on a le plaisir de vous annoncer que Neurocide s’associe avec Octagon\, afin de vous proposer le nouveau contenu des UPGRADES à Fri-Son! \nAprès bientôt 10 années à la tête de la sélection Drum & Bass\, nous nous tournons résolument vers l’avenir et intégrons ce jeune crew fribourgeois à l’organisation de nos events! Avec une palette musicale allant de la Drum à l’Electronique Abstraite et passant par l’Ambient mélodieuse et le Dubstep\, ce producteur au talent époustouflant a déjà plusieurs sorties sur les gros labels du milieu dont RAM\, Viper\, Inspected et Mayan Audio. Ayant récemment rejoint le collectif Methlab\, il persiste et signe en proposant plusieurs tracks de qualité avec cette équipe de tarés\, qui ne cessent de prendre du poids sur la scène internationale. On attend plus que de le voir derrière les platines à Fribourg pour avoir une preview des sonorités qui nous attendent\, sur ses prochaines releases! \nPour encore plus marquer le coup\, on ne s’est pas contenté de vous proposer quelques artistes Suisses. Idee und Ziel der Party’s ist es die Berner und Schweizweite Underground Drum & Bass Community näher zusammen zubringen und mit musikalischen Leckerbissen zu bereichern.\nMit geballter Vorfreude präsentieren wir euch die Sechste Ausgabe der „Underunity“. Welche die Club Saison mit einem abwechslungsreichen Line up eröffnet. \n>>Toni B<< (Play it Loud. BE) müsste eigentlich dem berner DnB Volk nicht mehr vorgestellt werden. Von den Anfängen der berner DnB-Ära bis heute\, erfreut er mit seinen groovigen Sets\, solo oder als Teil von „Silent Extent“ Jung und Alt mit seinen regelmässigen Auftritten im „Dachstock“ und der „Cafete“. \n>>Chris I.O<< (Kill Tomorrow.BE) ist einer der aufstrebensten „Neuro-Funk“ Produzenten und Djs der Hauptstadt. Was er mit regelmässigen Auftritten in Bern und Zürich immer wider unter beweis stellt. \nDer Producer und Dj >>Obscure<< ( AG ) der Teil von „Xenocracy“ und den“Sub Bros“ war\, ist ein begeisterter Musiktüftler mit Brachialität und Tiefgang. \nAuch dabei ist >>Ele<< ( Sturzflug Audio.
